Malatesta Paladino led a multi-phase restoration and infrastructure improvement project at the prestigious 15 Central Park West, a property managed by Brown Harris Stevens. Spanning four blocks, this extensive project required careful planning and execution to enhance both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the surrounding area.

Key Project Components:

  • Sidewalk & Curb Replacement: Complete replacement and restoration of sidewalks and curbs across a four-block radius, improving pedestrian safety, accessibility, and the overall appearance of the property.

  • Waterproofing: Installation of advanced waterproofing systems at the loading dock and entry points to protect the structure from water infiltration and ensure long-term durability.

  • Concrete Core Drilling: Core drilling through existing 5-inch-thick concrete slabs at multiple locations to accommodate various infrastructure needs and system upgrades.

  • Trench Drains at Parking Garage: Installation of trench drains in the parking garage to improve drainage and prevent water accumulation, ensuring a safer environment for vehicles and pedestrians.

  • Multi-Phase Project: The project was completed in phases over several years to minimize disruptions to residents, pedestrians, and local traffic while maintaining consistent progress.

By carefully coordinating each phase and prioritizing safety and efficiency, Malatesta Paladino completed this large-scale project, enhancing both the functionality and value of one of New York’s most iconic residential properties.
