Malatesta Paladino is currently engaged in a critical infrastructure project at 1 World Trade Center, on behalf of NYCAN. This ongoing initiative focuses on the installation of new concrete sidewalks at the building’s entry doors, enhancing safety, accessibility, and the first impression of one of New York City’s most iconic addresses.
Key Project Highlights:
- New Concrete Sidewalk Installation: Full installation of new concrete sidewalk sections at the entry doors of 1 World Trade Center, utilizing durable, high-performance materials designed to withstand heavy pedestrian traffic and the demands of a landmark urban environment.
- Entry Door Access & Safety: Work is carefully executed to improve the pedestrian approach to the building’s entry points, addressing surface conditions and ensuring a safe, compliant walkway for the thousands of tenants, visitors, and tourists who pass through daily.
- NYC DOT Compliance: All sidewalk work is carried out in full accordance with NYC Department of Transportation standards, ensuring long-term durability and regulatory compliance at one of the city’s highest-profile locations.
- Coordination with Site Management: Close collaboration with NYCAN and site management to ensure all work aligns with the strict operational, security, and scheduling requirements of 1 World Trade Center, minimizing disruptions throughout the construction phase.
